Nursing/Medical Services

The Nursing Department at Oneonta Nursing & Rehabilitation provides 24-hour skilled nursing care to both short and long-term care residents.  We focus on an individualized resident centered approach.  The Department consists of Registered Nurses,
Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Administrative Personnel.

All medical care and treatment of our residents is tailored to the specific needs of each person. 
 Dr. Benjamin Friedell, Medical Director, oversees all aspects of care and serves as an integral part of our geriatric experienced team to provide and maintain quality care.

Our team also provides a unique Palliative Care program to any resident for whom further active medical care is deemed futile or in accordance with the residents known wishes.
